Alabama (AL) PE Professional Engineers must complete 15 PDH continuing education to renew their PE Engineering License. Alaska (AK) PE Professional Engineers must complete 24 PDH continuing education to renew their PE Engineering License. Arkansas (AR) PE Professional Engineers must complete 24 PDH continuing education to renew their PE Engineering License. Florida (FL) PE Professional Engineers must complete 18 PDH continuing education to renew their PE Engineering License. All professional engineers licensed in Florida are required to obtain a total of 18 continuing education (CE) or PDH (professional development hour) course hours every two years in order to renew their licenses.
Of the 18 PDH or CE hours, one hour must relate to the Florida laws and rules of professional engineers, one hour must relate to Florida professional ethics, and four hours must relate to area of practice.
